Canada wins GOLD!!
and the title says it all! The hockey was fantastic. We had a blast! It's so fun being with so many cheering fans and to WIN GOLD!!!
We had a good time in Vancouver; in spite of Owen having a 103 degree fever on and off for three days! It then travelled to Grady, then to my brother and sister-in-law and then to my little Emily. Poor girl was so sick, but handled it like a trooper. From reading some other blogs it sounds like other people had it over the holidays as well. Hope everyone is feeling better.
Our time in Summerland went so fast, as always. Vancouver was that little extra time away to make us feel like we had a holiday. Staying in a hotel and having someone clean up after you is always nice and appreciated! However, we did spend five nights with Julia and Travis, which was fun too. They will soon be moving into a house as they just sold their condo; big step, plus they are busy planning the wedding. Which brings us to......
Happy New Year to all! 2006...this means I have been out of highschool for 10 years, OMG!!
Where has the time gone? I still find it hard to believe that I am a wife and mom. Mind blowing really. This year should be great. We have a couple weddings to go to, plus are planning to holiday Feb 2007 for Sterlings wedding in Mexico. I need to start saving now!
We are off to Victoria this weekend for a rugby tournament. My brother-in-law (Alex) works for the BC Rugby Union and scored some tickets for us. Grady is all over that! We will be home on Monday.
Pictures......Owen and Zach in their hockey jersey's (Zach is so little!).....Owen is his hockey 'helmut'...... auntie Tricia and Emily......all four of us at the GOLD MEDAL GAME!!.....
Talk to everyone soon.

Wow, you are busy! Sounds like the holidays were great...too bad we didn't get a chance to see each other, though. Next time...
I was wondering if you were there when CANADA won, glad you were. Talk to you soon!
Hi!
Thanks for the comment! I've actually checked out your site before, but didn't want to freak you out :)
I haven't ever been to Lillooet, but I hope it's not as bad as northern BC! My mom's still in Kitimat...
Alex was actually at our wedding, but we haven't really seen him since - he wasn't at Matthew's reunion this summer.
Keep up the blogging!
Angella
